Permanently Replace Missing Teeth
Dental implants offer a long-lasting solution for missing teeth, restoring function and aesthetics. Unlike traditional dentures or bridges, implants are designed to integrate with your jawbone, providing a secure and natural feel that can last for decades and eliminate problems like shifting and slipping of prosthetic teeth.
Single Implant Tooth
A single dental implant replaces one missing tooth without affecting neighboring teeth. The implant tooth post serves as an artificial root, supporting a custom-made crown that blends seamlessly with your natural teeth.
Multiple Implant Teeth
For patients missing multiple teeth, implants can be used to support bridges or partial dentures. This solution provides superior stability compared to removable options and helps maintain bone structure in the jaw.
All-On-4 Dental Implants
All-On-4 dental implants offer a full-arch replacement using just four implants in the upper or lower jaw. This technique provides a secure, fixed solution for patients missing most or all of their teeth, often eliminating the need for bone grafting.
Dental Implant Placement

In-Office Placement
The dentists at Pearly Smiles Dental perform implant placement in a precise, in-office procedure under local anesthesia or sedation for your comfort. We use advanced imaging to determine the optimal positioning for each implant, carefully placing each implant in the ideal location to take optimal advantage of the jawbone’s density and thickness.
Implant surgery usually takes 1-3 hours, depending on the number of implants placed and the complexity of the surgery. We ask that you have someone available to drive you home and keep an eye on you for the first 24 hours following implant placement.
Healing & Restoration
After placement, 3-6 months of healing allows the implant to integrate with the jawbone, stimulating bone growth and creating a stable foundation for your replacement teeth.
You will rest at home for the first three days, keeping your head elevated to reduce pain and swelling. Ice packs and pain-relieving medication will keep you comfortable. The most important things to keep in mind are rest, hydration, and a soft diet. Most pain and swelling will be gone by the end of the week. Patients usually return to work on the fourth day following surgery, but each case differs. After the first week, you can slowly add firmer foods to your diet until you eat normally.
Once osseointegration is complete and the mouth is healed, a custom crown, bridge, or denture is attached to the implants, restoring full function and aesthetics.

Dental implants look, feel, and function like natural teeth. They prevent bone loss, preserve facial structure, and eliminate the need for removable dentures.
How comfortable can dental implant placement be?
With modern techniques and sedation options, dental implant placement is a comfortable procedure. While some pain and swelling are expected for the first three days after surgery, within a week, you should feel like your normal self. Most patients report minimal discomfort and a smooth recovery.
How long do dental implants last?
With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime, providing you with a secure and stable solution for your missing teeth. Routine oral hygiene and regular dental visits are all it takes to maintain their longevity, giving you the confidence and security of a healthy, functional smile.
What are the reasons to choose dental implants?
Implants provide unmatched stability, prevent bone deterioration, and restore confidence in your smile. They eliminate the inconvenience of removable dentures, do not slip or shift, allow you to eat all the foods you love without restrictions, and improve overall oral health.
Will my insurance help pay for dental implants?
Coverage varies by provider. Some insurance plans contribute to the cost of implants or related procedures. We can help you explore financing and insurance options.
